The Lötschental in the Swiss Valais is a beautiful, rustic-looking mountain valley. It stretches from the small village of Kippel in a north-easterly direction for around 17 kilometres to the Lötschenlücke. Here you can see in the direction of the Lötschenlücke, which can be reached via the Langgletscher.
