In 1990, I completed my degree in general electrical engineering at the Ruhr University in Bochum. Around the turn of the millennium, I finished work on a book that I had been working on intermittently for several years. The book, which is roughly at school level, is dedicated to the subject of ‘Scientific Knowledge’. It may serve to interest one or two pupils in science and research.

Alpenverein

We love the mountains! This motto unites everyone in the German Alpine Club. The joy of being active in nature and the desire to experience summits unites members, volunteers and full-time employees. They go hiking or climbing in their free time, they are involved in climate and nature conservation and are interested in the culture and traditions of the mountain and Alpine regions. The DAV aims to promote mountain sports and alpinism while at the same time working to preserve the unique natural and cultural areas of the Alps and the German low mountain ranges.

Outdoor

I like to spend time in the alpine world from time to time. My activities include hiking, mountaineering, via ferrata climbing, mountain biking and photography.
