For me, spending time in alpine landscapes is probably one of the most impressive outdoor experiences.
It's hard to say exactly what makes mountain landscapes so fascinating. In any case,
I never feel bored or lonely during my mountain tours, even when I'm travelling alone.
The ascent to a summit as a sporting and logistical challenge is a special attraction.
But then the return from there is ultimately the completion of such an activity.
You can be impressed by these experiences for years afterwards.
During my stays in the Alps, I captured my visual impressions in photographs.
You can see various photos in three subject areas, most of which were taken in the Alps.
The aim is not to achieve a documentary, realistic image.
Rather, the aim is to use natural light in such a way that an artistic component is created without, however, becoming too abstract.
The photographs are very well suited to unfolding their effect as a photo print on canvas.
