Customized Image Processing

It is possible to adapt the images exhibited here to different visual preferences using modern image processing methods.

In the following I present a small excerpt of the possibilities of digital image processing using a mountain photo:

Here you can see the original shot of a mountain scene.

It is a colour image, which is barely perceptible due to the snow cover and the existing diffuse light. However, faint blue tones can be clearly recognised on the mountain flanks

The original image has been converted into a black and white image. In addition to the tone value of this special conversion, there are many other black and white tones into which a colour image can be converted.

In this process, the black and white image was modified with additional filters. The luminosity of the individual pixels was reduced in the dark tones and increased in the light tones. This creates a special lighting mood. The image appears much more dramatic.

Here the saturation of the original colour image has been greatly increased and the contrast was enhanced. The image now appears much cooler due to the blue tones.
