Since my childhood, going out into nature has been one of my most positive experiences.
Forests, meadows, fields, and rivers provided excellent playgrounds. A kind of closeness to nature developed into a preference for landscape photography.
The most diverse aspects of image composition come together in landscape photography.
A wide variety of compositions can be created from colours, shapes and lighting moods.

Natural landscapes are those that are as untouched by humans as possible or at least left to their own devices seasonally.
Cultural landscapes are those that have been cultivated and used by humans.
Finally, landscapes provide good motifs for panoramic images.
